Erika Verzutti

The book Erika Verzutti includes 104 of Versutti’s works from the period of 2008 to 2013, with her characteristic mix of humor, beauty, eroticism, alienation and violence. Working in bronze and concrete, she uses the forms of fruits, vegetables, stones, paint brushes, wood and other objects to produce her unique works. Her work Bicho de sete cabeças (7 Headed Monster), one of her most famous sculptures, was produced in collaboration with artists such as Adriana Varejão, Nuno Ramos and Ernesto Neto. This publication also brings an essay by the art critic José Augusto Ribeiro about Verzutti’s work.
